"Otranto was one of our favorite cities in Salento. Amazing location walking distance to the main sights, incredible apartment with terrace facing the ocean. The staff was incredibly helpful, Sergio and Caterina helped us with restaurant reservations and luggage transport. Breakfast was not included. The welcoming bottle of sparking wine was a great touch. Parking was easy to find with the instructions provided, but an extra fee. Communication was prompt and the staff was welcoming. Grazie...

"Die Unterkunft liegt sehr nahe am Zentrum, max. 5 Gehminuten. Der Whirlpool auf der Dachterrasse macht bei schönem Wetter auch abends noch Spaß. Schön war auch der große Parkplatz für die Autos, gleich gegenüber und immer freie Plätze."

The shower did not close fully. The sink was blocked when we arrived. The tenant was not very friendly. "Fantastic location overlooking the port and the castle. Overall, very good value for money. With a little effort, it could be superb. The bed linen, whilst very clean, was very worn and paper pillow cases on the spare pillows let it down. Some of the electrical appliances seemed to have the wrong sort of plug - northern rather than southern European, so difficult to use and concerns re forcing them into the sockets. Otranto makes a very good base for exploring the local countryside."
