It's location must be it's selling point. Lovely seaviews & sunset watching point.
Great to hear the waves from our room.
Burger meal in restaurant and breakfast roll good.
Easy, available car parking on site.
Pleasant staff.
Definitely not a 4*, more like a nice 3*.
Such a shame re the tatty paintwork from room doorways and corridors to include outside. Looks a bit tired in places generally.
Tiny room, tiny shower.
Mattress, work boots, empty cardboard box all left in the corridor outside rooms for whole duration of our stay.
Expensive room only price.
Always a pleasent stay. Great staff, views, food and rooms. Always clean and fresh. We cost and stay regularly can’t fault it.

The hotel is a little bit tired in places, and some of the furniture needs replacing in the dining area. But our room was lovely, very comfy bed and a beautiful view of the sea. The location in Downderry is spectacular and all of the staff were friendly and accommodating and worked really hard on a very busy bank holiday weekend. Definitely worth a visit !
What an amazing little gem.. truly amazing experience.. Stunning location.. 5 star service.. the food was amazing.. we will be back.. thank you x

Had a lovely sea view from the bedroom window.
Coffee and tea making facilities were ok.
Room cleanliness was acceptable.
Ended up bleeding the radiator as it was banging.
Staff were lovely - so polite and welcoming.
What an absolute amazing place to stay, super friendly staff and some awesome views of the sea
The food was great and our time was so relaxed and we will most certainly be back again soon
Had a really lovely few days at The Inn on the Shore. Such a wonderful hotel! All staff were really lovely, nothing was too much trouble especially Dave, Ke & Sahrya. Dave gave us lots of ideas of places to visit. Food was always delicious! Would definitely recommend to anyone!!
Very nice place great Pub . Great food and atmosphere. a peaceful area . Entertainment was excellent. The place we keep going 3rd visit this year. Highly recommended
Lovely view across the beach from our room, with a good choice of food well presented. Unless we asked the bed wasn’t made up but still enjoyed our weekend.
