"Great property with a wonderful staff. Location is perfect. Can’t imagine a more convenient spot to enjoy San Sebastián. The only downside, and it was big for us, was the noise. We were in room 1. Rooms 1-6 face a plaza bordered by a busy street. Starting at first light, a procession of daily street cleaning, waste removal,etc begins. Sleep at that point is impossible. I don’t know about the other side of the building, but I think it would be better. I would stay again, but try the other side. "

"Boendet ligger centralt i gamla stan, nära till restauranger och havet. Sängarna knarrade mycket och det var väldigt lyhört ut till korridoren, men rummet med balkong var trevligt för att sitta och sola och kolla på folk. Badrummen var i ok skick. Det var endast vanliga lakan ovan och under täcket, vilket känns lite konstigt (hade önskat vanligt påslakan). Men rummet var välstädat och fint. "

"Clean, spacious, close to everything! We loved Amaya at the front desk, she was so helpful and the after hours check in was simple. The room was beautiful with a huge outdoor patio including table and chairs. The living room and room each had a door to the patio. The bed was comfortable and clean. The location is very close walking distance to the beach and old town, and there’s a restaurant, and small grocery store right downstairs! The hotel provided coffee pods in the room with a coffee...

"L'hôtel est très bien situé, je n'ai pas eu besoin de prendre les transports en commun depuis la gare aux différents et principaux lieux à visiter. Passé l'entrée d'un immeuble du XIXth century (?), la pension Donostierra est située sur le pallier du 1ier étage. La chambre est propre de même que la salle de bain avec WC. Tout y est. Un petit balcon permet d'avoir une vue sur rue. La rue est très calme pendant la nuit. Très bonne expérience."

"We really loved the location close to the beach. The building was secure and the staff were helpful. From the photos we expected nice views which we didn’t have. No A/C but the ceiling fan was enough in June. The shower was tiny as I have seen in other reviews but it was fine. Will return for a future visit"
