"We found this to be a great location for our daily excursions. Our room overlooked a canal and had taxi and bus stops right outside. We enjoyed the hustle and bustle of Venice and felt we were in the pulse of the city. We loved waking to the sounds of the city coming alive. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. "The staff was amazing, from the front desk to the bartenders, they were all so wonderful, polite and hospitable. The location of the hotel was beautiful and convenient, across the street from the train station but far enough not to feel the business of the station. We enjoyed relaxing with our drinks outside enjoying the view of the Grand Canal from the deck outside the hotel."

"I really don't understand the positive reviews. The Alloggi Olimpia is "part of" the Hotel Olimpia but really not. There is no lift to room. Once you take the hotel olimpia elevator you have to go down weird back stairs and hallways that stench of trash. It was so bad I felt sick to my stomach walking to and from the room. The room itself was spacious and clean but the canal view is a complete joke. It looks out to a loud bus station type situation with people yelling and flighting. The bar...
