"Our room had a perfect view of the Grand Canal and was directly across the bridge to the train station. This was great when we were arriving and leaving-just a 4 minute walk. There are porters at the station who will help with the bags. They have modified wagons to easily move heavy bags across the bridge steps. The staff was very courteous and helpful with maps and directions on the best way to navigate the canals using the vaporetti (public ferries). They also provided suggestions on nearby...

"Extremely convenient location for the night before our cruise. We stayed in a family room that was perfect for our family of 4. Excellent restaurants nearby, and a grocery store a short walk to pick up some drinks to bring on board. The welcome drinks were a very nice touch! "

"We stayed in the newer part of the hotel. No view but it was a nice room and the staff was absolutely wonderful. It was walking distance from the train and we hired a porter to carry all our luggage (on a cart),, over the many bridges. They served a tea that was quite nice and they had an outdoor area with tables and chairs. Definitely would stay here again. Clean and comfortable."

"We loved this hotel, we chose it due to its close proximity to the train station. We were pleasantly surprised by the amazing free breakfast that they offer. The staff was so sweet and friendly. They don’t have an elevator so that’s a challenge, but they will help you with your luggage and we asked for a porter to help us with our luggage to the train station on the day we left and that was so helpful. Local restaurants are amazing too. "

"The property is situated on a small, quiet walkway while still very near lots of shops, eateries, etc. Our room was spacious and had a wonderful balcony for enjoying early morning coffee with a view in the fresh air. We walked to St. Marks and several places on the Grand Canal. Just one note: the building has no elevator, so beware."

"Glorious location on the Grand Canal. The staff was excellent-clearly the most professional people are hired by the management. Breakfast, cocktail hour, and dinner were all delicious-we had no desire to look elsewhere when we could sit outside on a terrace next to the Grand Canal. Umbrellas protected us from a brief sprinkle of rain. The recommendation to visit Murano via water taxi was much appreciated. We were picked up off the hotel entrance. We didn't want to leave!"
