Beautiful traditional Japanese Townhouse, the staff were very friendly and even helped me extend my stay for an extra night without a hassle. I would love to stay here again on my next visit to Japan.

懐かしさとモダンさ

作りの古さはあるとはいえ、それを補って余りあるリフォームの手際。ロケーション（大通りがすぐ近く、線路も比較的近く）ということによる音、ほぼ板一枚ガラス一枚で外の歩道と接していることによる朝の通勤時人々が行き交う音や話し声といった事を気にするかどうかが意見の分かれるところかもしれませんが、ここは都会に残された昭和の民家。懐かしさを感じさせてくれ、私はそうした外の音も環境音として受け入れられました。時代に置いてけぼりにされた小さな民家、きっと傷みも少なくなかったであろう家に息吹を吹き込んだリフォームやインテリアの工夫に脱帽です。
