"Hotel is close to Kobe Sannomiya Station. When we arrived at the hotel in the evening, it was happy hours, where drinks, including alcohol, and snacks were available. Front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. One even printed out bus schedule and direction to bus terminal from hotel for me. Room size is small like most rooms in Japan. Room, towels and bedsheets are clean."

"We love the Arima Onsen Hanano Ryokan. They picked us up at the train station and even carried our bags up to store our luggage. Yes, getting to the inn meant climbing up some stairs. This might be a problem for some people with mobility issues. But the climb was all worth it because the service was impeccable, the hotel was exceptionally clean and the room was spacious. For such a minimalistic inn, it has everything we needed and more. This inn is traditionally Japanese with modern facilities. ...
