"Exceptional staff. The manager and staff go out of their way to ensure your stay is personalised and that you feel welcome and at home. They are always on hand to provide their guests with every assistance. Rooms are premium and well maintained. Delicious breakfast. Afternoon tea is a nice gesture. Hotel is in one of Istanbuls most beautiful neighbourhoods and while very central to the main attractions is still quite private with nice shops and restaurants just outside the more hectic tourist areas."
"The hotel is gorgeous and has the old world charm you expect to see in Istanbul. The common areas were spotlessly clean, and the food for the included breakfast was delicious. The view from the restaurant was amazing. The courtyard landscaping is beautiful; I can only imagine how wonderful it is to relax there in the summer. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly professional gentlemen. They're very likeable guys who really went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable. It was extremely cold during my stay, and they made sure I had a space heater to keep me warm. They also extended my stay in my same room and allowed me to check out late with no fee. They booked a taxi for me to get me to the airport on time, & just really made me feel like a cherished guest.
But what REALLY made my stay special is the fact that they put me in the absolute best room in the hotel: the terrace room directly above the lobby with a full view of The Blue Mosque directly across the street. I'm still awestruck at being able to look out of my window and see that majestic sight anytime I wanted. I am already anticipating my return to Istanbul and my stay at Sultanahmet Palace Hotel. I sincerely hope they'll put me in that Blue Mosque view room every time I visit. "
