Not the best of locations in Lanzarote, and with limited parking just outside the hotel, nevertheless everything else about Aparthotel I union was excellent - the room, the meals, the grounds, and the friendliness of the staff. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic place to stay

The hotel was perfect, the rooms clean and spacious. The pool area was fantastic with lots of space and plenty of sun loungers, pool bar and great views. There was separate smaller pools in and around all bungalows as well, plenty of facilities. All in all a fantastic place to stay.

Great location

WE emailed when booking as my wife was a wheel chair user they offered an up grade when we arrived but kept the room we booked our fault we should have followed up our email. The staff where very nice. Breakfast something for every one.

Well Maintained Apartments in peaceful location

Best parts of our stay: attentiveness of all staff, comfort of beds, spacious clean apartment, location of complex, quiet at night. points for people considering booking - coffee isn’t good, pool bar is drab and no atmosphere, families with young children new to swimming should consider a hotel with a much better life guarded pool.

Great hotel and great location!

Brilliant hotel, the location is great and only 10 minutes from the airport. Loads of goos bars and restaurants nearby and 5min walk to the beach. Food waa fab! We had breakfast and a lunch and couldnt fault it. Good drinks menu too! Rooms were clean, staff very helpful, pool area lovely and clean too. Plenty of sun beds and no people putting towels down early either. If you like watching the planes its great for seeing that as well. Staff could not do enough for you and always had a smile on their faces! Would i stay again? Absolutely!

Absolutely loved this hotel. We were on a half board basis but everything was provided in the kitchen if self catering. Bungalow was lovely and right by the bottom pool. Television only had bbc news in English but you're on holiday and can catch up when back home. Food in restaurant was delicious and had different theme every night.

First time at the Ilunion Costa Sal and we were not let down. The hotel is excellent, clean and well maintained. The room was clean and functional for our stay. We found the food to be excellent with a good choice for both breakfast and evening meal. The hotel team are great and couldn’t do enough for us. Well located in Matagorda with a great range of cafe’s, bars and restaurants within a ten minute walk. There are a couple of supermarkets close by and a small shop on site. The pool area is immaculate and never too busy, with no subbed hogging. The hotel is ten minutes from the airport and about 30 minutes walk from Puerto del Carmen. A great hotel, in an excellent location. We will definitely be back.

I was in a wheelchair following an unexpected stay in hospital in Lanzarote. The care by the reception and restaurant staff was outstanding. There are excellent facilities for disabled people but the ramps are steep and quite lengthy, help was always available.. The site itself is large but divided into smaller sections so does not feel overcrowded

The place was amazing but unfortunately I had leave after our 1st night stay due to a bereavement. However I will be back to enjoy the full beauty of the the place. The staff were brilliant and so helpful and understanding and went away above and beyond to help us. away

Bad start to our stay. Booked a table for dinner on the first night. When we turned up to eat the table we had chosen had been allocated to a party of 6 and we were informed no one can book a table!! The member of staff who told us this was quite off hand and rude. Really bad communication. The accommodation itself was good and the reception staff were excellent

Ideal resort for babies and children

Costa Sal was the perfect place for our first family holiday with out 9m baby. We had in a bungalow room which to our surprise had a separate pool from the main apartments, mostly occupied with families with small children. The resort was incredibly clean and well kept, workers out sweeping and gardening every morning, painting and maintaining the pool. The apartments were well equipped for making basic meals and comfortable. High chair provided in room and also in restaurant. Buffet breakfast was perfect with large selection and lots to chose from for baby too (also GF section available). Short walk the beach or seafront with lots of supermarkets, shops, restaurants to choose from. Close proximity to airport on No161 bus which meant we didn't take car seat for baby. Ideal choice. Only one downside, AC in main living area and not in bedrooms which might be tricky in high summer months.
