"Stayed for one night and everything was fine. Reception people are very friendly and helpful. Room was fine. Very quiet. Town centre is close by. Huddersfield has some excellent good beer pubs and a handful of decent restaurants.
Would definitely stay there again."

"Staff were lovely, big car park. Bed was okay. Everything in the room seemed to be very low.. The sink, the door handle.. All felt like I had to bend down to use. Very weird to have no plugs by the bedside, and only on the other side of the room, which was odd given it's all been recently refurbished. Good location, and I'd stay again."

"Firstly, the hotel, staff and amenities are really good.
The reason for my low score was the noise from the weddings. It was unbearable. I was in Wakefield on a business trip. I received an email a couple of days before to say there would be a wedding on the first night of my stay. When I arrived I was told that there was going to be a wedding on both days.
The wedding marquee was right outside my window. It was so loud that I couldn’t even hear the tv which was a metre or so away from me....
