It was great this hotel is w in walking distance of the ferry to Nova Scotia. Yes it’s worth the money there is a shuttle bus to take you to the village green so you can drink and ride. It runs every 15 mins w the last bus out at 10p"
"This is really a wonderful facility, and the staff/owner was very professional, gracious, and pleasant. The room was quite nice. The problem we had is that it is a little bit too far to walk to downtown, which is kind of important because the parking and downtown Bar Harbor is absolutely horrendous."
"We stayed 4 nights at Chiltern Inn in July. What a gorgeous property! We felt like royalty on vacation. Our room was charming and cozy. All rooms in the house were beautifully decorated with elegant furniture, antiques, and delightful artworks. All amenities were clean and well taken care of. Our hosts, Joan and Dan were very kind and caring- a wonderful hot breakfast was served every morning, a complimentary wine was waiting the guests in afternoon; their knowledge of Bar Harbor and Acadia NP were vast and their enthusiasm for activities contagious. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you very much."
"The rooms were very spacious and so cute. They offered cold bottled drinks to all guests daily and had a nice grab and go section for breakfast. Keena at the front desk was amazing and so helpful in plan making. Location was great - we walked to shops and restaurants. "
