"Had a lovely overnight stay in mid February 2026. Lovely family run hotel, gorgeous scenery, delicious food and wonderful warm staff made for the most delightful stay. Staff very welcoming to children. Great gluten free and vegetarian meal choices at the restaurant along with a good priced children’s menu. Our family room had a very generous queen sized bed (? may have been king sized) and a sofa bed. Well priced for Valentines weekend. Would definitely stay again"

"What a great little place! It's perfect if you need a home-base and want to tour around the area. It's simple but lovely and well maintained. So clean! Alan, one of the owners is very knowledgeable and not just about the area! He has geology knowledge upon food recommendations upon hiking/walking/climbing trails. We got a lovely reception as soon as we arrived. It isn't fancy but the atmosphere and service are 5 star. "

"Grande chambre avec vue sur le lac. Proximité directe du ferry qui permet de traverser le lac (gratuit pour les piétons). Pas de service de restauration lors de notre séjour, mais de quoi petit-déjeuner dans le réfrigérateur (2 muffins, 2 yaourt, jus d'orange + lait) ce qui est très appréciable."

"We had an excellent 2 night stay here, Staff were fantastic , special thank you to Lorna on reception who very kindly managed to dry our coats and boots a couple of times due to the non stop rain. Our breakfasts were superb , thanks to the Chef and Tina who was a breath of fresh and super helpful. Actually every member of staff that we met are an absolute credit to the Hotel. We will look forward to going back to this here again. There were renovation works going on whilst we were there but they...
