The property itself is fabulous. However it is located in a quite shabby neighborhood. I had no trouble while I was there, but it didn’t seem particularly nice and safe. I loved the property itself.

Soho Residence was a bit tricky to find by Bus as people were confusing Katerinis with Katerini which is another city altogether. The apartment was a short walk from the Bus stop, passing the One Salonika Mall which has lots of shops and food courts. The area surrounding the apartments looks shabby/ run down, but we didn’t have any issues during our stay. The Door handle/ key code seemed a bit fiddly at first, but we got the hang of it. The apartment was clean, AC wasn’t turned on, so it was very warm initially. It didn’t take long for the AC to cool the room, as the weather was hot. There was a Double bed and a Sofa although we had booked for 3 Adults. My Daughter had to sleep on the Sofa which wasn’t very comfortable. We had assumed it would be a Sofa bed, but it wasn’t. This would be more suitable for 2 Adults and a Child. The pictures show a partition screen between the Double Bed and the Sofa but there wasn’t any in the property so not much privacy. The Bathroom door handle fell out at the slightest touch, but this was repaired as soon as I informed the Agency. The cleaners didn’t change bedsheets, towels but we were able to get spares when they came around most days to clean the empty rooms. The apartment has most of the basic amenities including free Wi-Fi and good public transport to the City Centre. The Agency were quick to respond to any queries which was very helpful. On the whole, would recommend this apartment if you are visiting Thessaloniki for a few days.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Alle Möbel sind in bestem Zustand. In der Nähe gibt es ein Outlet Center und Cafés. Das W-Lan funktioniert sehr gut.

Die Gegend war wirklich unterirdisch. Sauberkeit war in Ordnung aber verbesserungsfähig. Die Eingangstüre schließt so laut das man sie durch das ganze Haus hört. Tag und Nacht

Wir mussten 15min vor der Tür warten… Da wir keinen Code für die Tür erhalten haben. Nach 3 mal anrufen der hinterlegten Nummer ist dann auch mal jemand dran gegangen. (14Uhr) Würde mein Freund kein Grieche sein, hätte hier bestimmt keine Kommunikation stattgefunden. Sie fragten 5 mal wo genau wir sind und 5 mal nach der Handynummer und wir kamen uns nur noch wie in einem Scam vor…. Nach 15min telefonieren hatten wir dann eine Nachricht erhalten mit dem PIN. Als wir in das Zimmer kamen stoß uns direkt ein unerträglicher Zigaretten Geruch entgegen. Das Zimmer war an sich sauber bis auf die schränke wo sich noch Lebensmittel von den Vorgänger befanden… Die Dusche hatte auch ein Leck, sie spritze in alle Seiten da sie nicht gut zusammen gebaut wurde…. Die Aussicht ins Getto war natürlich unglaublich, fast wie zu Hause. 😂 Auch die Umgebung… als Frau würde ich da nicht alleine rumlaufen wollen. Die Klimaanlage befand sich genau über dem Bett und war nachts teilweise extrem laut…. Da wir einen ermäßigten Preis erhalten hatten, da wir spontan gebucht haben. War es für den Preis OK aber wir hätten niemals den regulären Preis dafür bezahlt.
