Room and shower room are compact - enough room to move about (I was on my own with a smaller sized bag; 2 and large suitcases would feel right ) - so there would be no swinging of cats. Sufficient for an overnight stay. Booked a windowless room as it was only for 1 night. Didn’t bother me, the curtain gave the impression of a window. Obviously no clue how bright or dry the day was (but then it is Edinburgh!). 2nd stay in 6 months (windowed room wasn’t much bigger). Convenient for Haymarket station, trams and buses."

"The room was very clean and comfortable. They provided room slippers also. The location was excellent. Right across from Waverley station. Since my husband and I took the train from London, it was convenient. It is located in the center of all attractions, so we walked everywhere from the hotel. Lots of pubs and cafes near by. We purchased breakfast for 2 mornings. Food was delicious and fresh, and the staff members were very tentative and polite. The lounge is located onv7th floor, we were able to enjoy the view of Scotts monument and the park. The price was very reasonable yet excellent customer service. We would definitely stay again if we ever travel to Edinburgh."

"This Ibis Hotel is located in a very convenient area in the old town and the major Edinburgh sites were easy walks from the hotel. The staff was kind and helpful, breakfast was fresh, and my room was very clean. I wish the room had a refrigerator to store cold drinks. "
