Rick makes excellent biscuits and gravy and provides an amazing, and slightly creepy, tour of this old county hospital. Large comfy room and lots to look at and enjoy about the history of the area. Take your time and enjoy the spaces!"

"The property is beautiful and the resort is wonderful. And the view! Plenty of things to do but if you want to use the pool or hot tub you have to walk through the large lobby in your suit to get to it, so we unfortunately chose not to for that reason (busy resort with a lot of people and children in the large lobby area/restaurant). The in-room amenities need an upgrade. If you want to watch tv at any point, good luck. Impossible to navigate, no movie options to choose from, overall this was akin to an inexpensive hotel stay, not a high end resort. Overall it’s worth every penny if you are able to use all of the perks of the resort. If not, it’s just a pretty place to sleep."

"Staff extremely polite. Near main road, easy to find. Rooms older but clean. Only down fall they only offee coffee and it comes out at 7am and the bed was hard. I would stay again though staff friendliness and willing to accommodate plus price out weighs the 2 down falls. "
