We were so delighted to find our wonderful cabin at Royal Gorge cabins. The area was so quiet and the setting so serene. The indoor outdoor fireplace was delightful as was the hammock. Loved it.

This place is beautiful!

Cotton Wood Cabin was extremely clean and the view was amazing from the back patio. Our beds were so comfortable and the hot water in the shower was so nice. We will definitely be staying here again.

Loved the Canon City Cabin!

Really loved the quaintness and comfort provided with this location and overall feel of the home! Great to relax and engage with family. Note, the TV seemed somewhat broken as the connection was not great and many channels were not available.

A little piece of paradise.

We were pleasantly surprised when we walked into our little cabin. Such a cool area and view. The cabin was very clean and had most of what we needed for a few days in the mountains. These are beautiful cabins in a great location. We will definitely be back!

Everything was perfect! Beds were comfortable. Kitchen has everything you need. Clean, beautifully decorated. Nice people. Easy check-in and check-out. Love the indoor outdoor fireplace. Had coffee on the patio in the morning with the local deer. Community firepit is a great addition. Very peaceful. Highly recommend!!

Really Lovely

Great property, amenities, and views! We were so impressed and felt like we were experiencing a taste of luxury! There are so many great details: in/outdoor fireplace, a hammock, corn hole, huge patio table, and a grill at the cabin, plus a community fire pit that is steps away. Certainly a lot of care and thought goes into the space. However, I wish there were more staff available onsite for small needs (more toilet paper or dishwasher tabs); and the clean up could have been more thorough. We found pet droppings outside and minor debris on the sheets. We found the beds and pillows comfortable. A point of discomfort: the area rugs used are made of a material that sheds, is pokey/irritating, and very hard to remove from clothing. The fibers went wherever we did, including into the bedding. Were I to stay again, I would always use footwear and would either not sit on the floor or would bring some other cover to put between myself and the area rug.

The tent was spacious and had all the amenities that we needed to be comfortable. Beds and pillows were great, we had a fire pit with wood and water provided. It was easy to get too and the bath house was wonderful with soaps, towels and all the necessities available.

We stayed in the Bootlegger cabin, which was somewhat detached and nicely secluded from the other cabins. The place was immaculate, and had all of your household needs- everything was in top shape and perfect working order. The area around the unit was genuinely perfect. The only thing here that needs to be made clear to other visitors is that there is a highway nearby. When it’s quiet, it’s very quiet, but at the busier points in the day it can be a little noisy. I would definitely come back- sad we had to leave.

Pictures Don’t Do This Place Justice

It was the highlight of our trip. Privacy of our own cabin and the most spectacular view of the mountains right outside the living room. Bed was comfy and everything looked new. Even the landscaping was like a 5 Star hotel. And we had a couple of deer that came by to visit. Book this place with confidence!

Wonderful glamping experience! The tent was bigger than our last hotel room and the beds were comfortable. Wood was provided for a nice evening fire and there was a coffee pot for morning. The bath house was very clean and well stocked with towels. As I read on other reviews, you can hear a lot of road traffic, but we didn’t mind it. Highly recommend!!

Just a couple ideas

It was good. It was a little bit of pleasure along with Business. The pillows weren't that great and we really had a hard time figuring out how to use the microwave. Also, they do not have an oven when we travel we like to cook as much as we can, and wine glasses would be a plus if they had them, but other than that it was a very nice stay. It was very quaint and cute and a very nice view.

Great Property

This property is super cute. My daughter and I had the small Pine Cabin. It was comfy and cute. The bath house was comfortable and the property itself was very well kept. We didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit or games but they’d be fun for a family. This place is so much cuter than an old hotel. The icing on the cake was I accidentally left my air pods behind and they actually overnighted them to me (I paid shipping). I was so happy, I thought they were gone forever! THANK YOU!

We stayed in a glamping tent for two nights during the summer. The tents were nice, the beds were comfortable and the a/c (evaporative cooling) worked well. The property had fun activities, including horseshoes, tetherball, cornhole and a gas firepit. Each camp site also has a firepit, wood and a bucket of water, but we did not build a fire because it was warm out. Our tent also had a patio with table and chairs. We loved sitting there to enjoy the view by day and the stars by night. The bathhouse was clean, well designed and more convenient than we expected. Check-in was very easy - they sent an email prior to arrival with instructions for accessing the site and the tent. If you prefer not to cook, there is a fun restaurant across the street, along with the adventure outfitters (ziplining & rafting). We used these services and everything was super convenient. Some reviews mentioned highway noise, but that was not an issue for us at all. We absolutely would stay there again!

Amazing everything

My friend and I go on a little weekend getaway every year, since we no longer live in the same state and barely get to see each other. This year, I suggested we go white water rafting in Colorado. When I was looking for a place to stay in Cañon City and these cabins popped up, I was extremely intrigued. After looking at all of the options, I decided that the 2 bed glamping tents was perfect for us. The staff was very hands on about getting all of my information before our arrival, so we could just go straight to our tent and not have to worry about checking in. The process was seamless. I got a phone call that morning even asking if I got the email with the proper information. Upon our arrival, we were in awe. Perfect location, beautiful scenery, and amazingly clean facilities. We were also provided with our own bundle of wood and a bag with fire starters in it each day we were there. I cannot recommend this place more. One of my favorite places I have ever stayed in my whole traveling life.
