"We had such a poor experience at Pendry DC that we chose to email the General Manager directly, as we generally prefer not to air concerns publicly. Unfortunately, it has now been over a week without even an acknowledgment that our message was received.
That lack of response speaks volumes. In hospitality, especially at this level, accountability and follow-through are non-negotiable. The experience itself was disappointing, but the absence of any response afterward is what ultimately stands...

"The room it was clean as well as the bathroom. The room service it was every three day. They offer assistant if you need it.
Bed was soft and comfy, clean sheets. The room had an adjacent room that was empty, it should have at least a table, it was a lack of furniture, but is OK if you just need to sleep. Breakfast it was poor, Friday, they wasn't prepare for a big crowd around 8 a.m."

"The bathroom wall had damage from a past issue. The repair required drywall patching, which only had the first coat of drywall mud on it. It looked terrible and I could not believe that they would re-install the towel rack over it and consider it rentable. They did offer another room but it should have never gotten to that. No ice maker worked and you had to get ice from the restaurant."

"No the room was was 82° in the room. I sweated all night. I took four showers I didn’t even sleep in the bed. I slept in the living room because there was a ceiling fan. I thought the buffet breakfast was inclusive, but it was not. There was a struggle to get into the building with my luggage because the door was so heavy and I am disabled all in all it was "

"We’ve stay at Hampton Inns many times and this was the first time we’ve had any concerns. Overall stay was okay. There was no elevator service to the parking garage, but this was stated when we arrived as due to elevator repair/reno and we were given tips to drop off luggage before parking, etc. But the breakfast was a fiasco. "Location was great, subway was just a block or 2 away. Staff was great. 20 minute walk to a few of the museums. As for the room, there were 2 red jellybeans on the floor by the beds. Even after 1 night and housekeeping came, they were still there. Sink had chips/crack, visible stains on carpet. Bathroom was clean, but those details took away the quality that was expected. Pillows were too big or bulky, not comfortable to sleep on. "
