"We got moved room at midnight, and had to move all of our belongings because the power in our room wasn't working, which was an issue the desk knew about when they gave us the room. Then, when I attempted to get a refund on the room for the night, we were offered free breakfast, but the lady on the desk was desperate to haggle down the number of days we got it for. Just felt very cheap and really made us not enjoy the stay."

"Staff were lovely and breakfast was well cooked. Surprised it was a buffet breakfast. We had a really good rate so absolutely no complaints. It was starting to look a little tired, with build up in the corners of the bathroom around the shower, and chips in the walls and paintwork of our room. The view on the top floor is lovely and made for a nice touch to visiting family where I’d originally grown up."

"We recently stayed at The Woburn Hotel (Luxury Cottage) and unfortunately it did not meet expectations. The staff, bar and food were all very good. However, the issue was with the accommodation itself. When booking, the photos on Expedia gave the impression that the cottages had similar features, particularly the room with the freestanding bath at the end of the bed. "Parking was easy enough reception staff give us a nice welcome. The room was a bit dated the bar was not that good at all the beer was flat. It’s the worst pint of Guinness i had in my life and it’s so over priced.. Breakfast was great, good variety"
