"The staff at the front desk were always incredibly helpful, friendly, and nice. The cleaning staff wonderful. The restaurant had good food, but the 2 breakfast’s I had there, the waiter was not remotely attentive. First breakfast, asked if I could get a biscuit, instead of toast. No mention of an upcharge, $5.50 for 1 biscuit. Went Down 2 evenings to order dinner and take to our room. It was almost like I was intruding. Was not welcomed"

"This is a WONDERFUL B&B in the heart of Philadelphia. We really enjoyed our stay! The staff is kind and very helpful; the rooms are beautiful and the breakfast is great! "This was my first experience in a ROOST property and it was a great alternative to a classic hotel! The apartment was modern and chic but cozy. It felt like coming home to our own place after walking around the city. The apartment was very clean, well decorated, and comfortable. The 3rd floor amenity floor was gorgeous - beautiful green terraces to hang out on, a spacious and clean outdoor rooftop pool, hang out spots that were empty every time we visited. "The is a cute, quaint hotel with a lot of nostalgia. The rooms are very spacious, comfy beds with plenty of pillows. The location was perfect, we walked around til after 11:00 pm & felt safe. Staff was wonderful. My only comment was we were on the 3rd floor, which was “ok” for us mid 50’s. But if you have bad knees, etc I would make sure to get a room on the lower floor. Parking garage is right across from the hotel. I would definitely stay here again…"
