"The water park is a bust. The chlorine levels burned our eyes and made our skin itch. The only water slide for big kids was so wild that after only one ride, our daughter had 5 large bruises including one on her head. We didn't ride it again."

"We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Rapid City for one week. Overall, the property was nice, and we appreciated the warm cookies offered in the evening as well as the lemon ice water available in the lobby. Unfortunately, there were some issues during our stay. My husband, who has Alzheimer’s, stepped on something while barefoot in our room and cut his foot. We couldn’t find what caused the injury at the time, but after returning home, an ER doctor removed a small piece of glass from his foot. This suggests the room may not have been vacuumed thoroughly. I also requested fresh towels daily, but that never happened. I eventually had to flag down housekeeping and exchange the towels myself. The complimentary breakfast was adequate but became repetitive after a week and offered few healthy choices. While there were aspects of our stay we enjoyed, better housekeeping and room cleaning would have improved the experience considerably."

"The staff were very helpful with ideas for restaurants in the area and immediately accommodated our request to stay an extra night. The breakfast buffet was good, although the room can get crowded due to bus tourists staying at the hotel. They did a good jub of keeping everyone happy despite the crowd."

"Stayed here in Rapid City for a week while a family member had a medical procedure. Check in was easy and proce matched online booking. No fault to the staff but the first room the fridge did not work. Second room, wasnt clean at all. Finally landed in a 3rd room and upgraded me for the hassle. Room was clean, quiet, everything worked(fridge, hair dryer, coffee...) all floors were clean and property well maintained. Pool and hot tub worked well and clean. Breakfast: yummy and lots of selections. Parking: free, clean and safe Location: close to mall, shopping, food and safe as well. Staff: friendly, helpful, kind and accommodating. Will stay again!"

"I stayed here for 5 days while a family member was in Rapid City for a medical procedure. Overall it was ok, they are either in the middle of remodeling or just finished but here is my review: Staff: nice and accommodating. Had to book another night last minute and was able to get my same room back after check out Food: breakfast was very scarce. A half gallon of milk in lobby fridge. No fruit. Juice machine was broken. Did have waffles. Not alot of pick from. Room: clean but had a lot of small bugs. Its summer and on 1st floor so I guess its expected. Quiet time is 10pm but thats laughable. Doors slam, kids running the halls. No hair dryer. No coffee pot. I travel w/ my own mini Keurig but if you dont have one, just FYI. Curtains were broken had to secure together with claw clip. Bed is VERY FIRM. Hot tub broken, which after a long hospital day I would have enjoyed. Location: close to everything. Safe. Overall, id give it 4.5/10"
