"The hotel was very poorly staffed throughout our stay. 75%+ of tables had dirty glasses / empty bottles that needed clearing. All draught options were off at the bar and we were charged 20% service for opening 2 bottles of beer. The spa was ok but very tired. The changing rooms had a lot of broken plastic worksurfaces. The pool itself was ok but had clearly had a rushed refurbishment with a poorly fitting pool liner. It all felt quite claustrophobic. The jacuzzi was way over-chlorined...

Bar not respecting clients privacy by shouting room numbers across the bar and names. Unacceptable. Breakfast was a disaster if staff spent less talking to each other rather than checking the state of play with the food. Ie little food available when flagged they said oh we will cook some more. "easily the best place I've stayed this year. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, the room was spotless, comfortable, and well equipped, and everything exceeded my expectations. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was great, and the whole hotel felt well run and inviting. Fantastic value for money in a great location. I'll definitely be staying here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"No restaurant available as per the description and photos - I had planned to eat dinner after Check In but couldn't. Breakfast was in the reception area and not very comfortable. On check in, I was asked what time I wanted my 'full English' - not ideal being held to a time. Full English didn't have standard bacon - it was non pork Turkish bacon which I should have been told about.
