I was here for two nights attending a concert nearby. I'd hever been to The Hague (Den Haag) before, but I really impressed - and this hotel located in a wonderful old building in the city centre was a real find. Gorgeous room, lovely staff and a perfect location.

Good place to stay

Nice, fresh convenient Ibis Styles in a good location. Good value for money. Room was cosy and the shower opens out right into the room, and you hear the church bells all the time, but we liked it!

A beautifully adapted period property offering comfortable rooms in contemporary style. The hotel is adjacent to the Grote Kerk in the heart of the historic centre close to shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. The staff could not have been more helpful. A superb hotel for a visitor to Den Haag.

Great location and wonderful service

The location was great as itis about 20 mins walk from the train station. There are plenty of eating and shopping places from the train to the hotel. It is also an easy walk to the Peace palace and other places of interest. We hopped on the bus from city center to the pier and a tram ride was all it took to get back. The stair case was really awesome and although we did not have coffee/tea - we were able to just go to reception for hot tea/coffee. Everyone at reception were friendly and very helpful.

Very impressed by the friendliness and efficiency of all the staff; you were made to feel very welcome. The hotel building is wonderful from an architectural standpoint and many of the original features had been retained. My room was large and airy with big picture windows. Hotel and rooms were extremely clean; they have excellent housekeeping staff. Breakfast was very good. Overall, a most enjoyable stay.

Funny room layout but great service

Service was great, they changed breakfast start for me as i had an early checkout and needed to catch train at 7 am. Great stuff. The room was a little strange layout with the sink in the room and not able to hold water as the overflow was far to low in the sink, but really the service made up for it.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel building in an outstanding location. The room had huge windows and blackout curtains so you could enjoy both day and night. The windows were double paned to keep the room quiet from the road noises, but earplugs were also given. Shower and toilet seemed clean. Overall, amazing hotel especially for the price.

Den Haag all the features of Amsterdam

Historic building with access to tram lines and both RR stations. Rooms modern and clean. Multi-lingual staff was polite and attentive.. Also museums, historical gov't buildings nearby. Short train trip to Amsterdam for day trips . Numerous restaurants and clubs nearby. All in all a quieter and less expensive Amsterdam.

Stunning brick building by H.P. Berlage from the 1890s however the room interiors are plain and modern. Excellent location, good air conditioning, comfortable bed and very nice breakfast. The bathrooms lack full privacy as they have swinging shutter doors and the bathroom windows are not insulated which lets in the plentiful street noise. Earplugs were provided next to the bed.

Beautiful building in very good central location. Error at check-in was quickly and professionally rectified. Room design is not suitable for a long stay (lack of closets) and the room cleaning was poor. Lack of towels and irregular supply of coffee capsules.
