"Enjoyed one night stay in Rm 6 (yes all the guest rooms are numbered). The apt comes with kitchen, batch room and a bedroom with a queen size bed. Besides, there is common area you share with other guests including the balcony and the basement. Clean, warm and convenient location to The PA Grand Canyon Lookout. Bill the owner is the greatest host you can find! Absolutely recommend this place."

"Decent price for a basic/convenient stay while stopping thru the area. Property & room was clean (bathtub didn't drain well, BUT the shower was nice & hot quickly). Need were pretty comfortable & clean. We arrived at 9p but the owner saw us & came right down to check us in quickly. No coffee in lobby & the coffee in the room is basic at best, we'd recommend a local coffee shop (there are many well rated locations within walking distance)."

"Old hotel with a lot of history and character. 150 years old approx, but celebrated 100 years in July of current name. Not for everyone, but lots of charm, in a fun little downtown area. Staff were great, rooms are "old fashioned" (even keys for the doors). But fun nostalgia"

"Desk staff was excellent and got us into our room early which was greatly appreciated. Location is close to downtown and all the shops and restaurants. The room was spacious, very clean and the larger style refrigerator came in handy. Will continue to stay at the Sherwood every time we stay in Wellsboro. Also the most reasonably price room in the area."
