My husband & I highly recommend a stay here. The Inn was super clean, quiet, & we can't say enough about it. We will definitely be going back. We even loved hearing the cows mooing from the property next door.

Surprisingly & Interesting Location

Booked on same day, easily located near Wellsboro, very comfortable and clean. Looking forward to staying again. Breakfast is not included, but you may bring all your favorite food and prepare it in a fully stocked kitchen area.

Perfect location to stay for a weekend in Wellsboro. Close to town and the excellent Red Lantern House Chinese restaurant and Harlan’s for breakfast. We will definitely come again!

The room with kitchen was great. All the facilities inside were very nice. Outside could use some landscaping, and a little paint. There is lack of clear instructions upon arrival. Recommend calling the owner in advance to avoid confusion. We would stay there again. Lowing of the cows is very restful.

The room was very nice, modern and clean. Common area large and equipped with games, microwave, refrigerator and sink. Lack of guidance at the property. No front desk, and the one person there was nice, but not very knowledgeable.

Very nice rental community activities like the pool table and board games were very nice. Lots of panflets for nearby activities. Very comfortable bed and linens. Complementary hit chocolate and coffee also very nice

GREAT stay.

Beautiful, modern, well kept property. Accommodations were clean and well maintained. Location was good and owner shared local suggestions which made stay better. We needed a late check in and they accommodated our arrangements and communicated clearly and effectively. Will absolutely be booking again.

It was very peaceful, restful. Beautiful view of the country side. Was within a couple miles of all the places we wanted to visit or do. The room was very clean, modern, had all the amenities we needed. There was even a full kitchen available in the common areas, a pool table and laundry available if needed. We slept well and enjoyed our stay.

Clean Cozy and Accommodating

We were in town to visit friends and enjoy the area. We adore Wellsboro and always soak up its charm every time we pass through. Our stay at Stony Fork Inn was wonderful. The Sunroom Apartment was the perfect fit for our family of 4 plus they accommodated our two small dogs without question. The owners were very responsive and reached out often to make sure we had everything we needed. It was clean and cozy, and we enjoyed our two nights stay there. We will definitely look into staying with them again for future trips.

The Stony Fork in is amazing! We love everything about it. It was very convenient to where we needed to be. The views are simply amazing and the room was terrific. Having the use if a full kitchen is really nice. Other patron were friendly too. Bill and Ali are very responsive and helpful too. We will be back again.

Very unique & different than what I'm used too. The facility appears to be recently remodeled & was very tastefully done giving the place more of a home feeling rather than the standard hotel same old, same old look that they usually have. Located in a beautiful mountain farming area you have gorgeous views of the sky and distant mountain ranges yet you are only minutes away from downtown Wellsboro. A highlight for us was a neighboring farm that had a herd of friendly cattle that entertained us, proudly showing off their baby calves & gently caring for them by nursing them & licking them. Watching the calves play together was very cute. We highly recommend this property.

Beautiful accommodations. Seems like everything was brand new. Everything you could need is provided. Beds were very comfortable. Room was clean bathrooms were fully sticked with extra towels as well as body wash shampoo and conditioner. Kitchen had everything you need to cook a meal. There were plenty of brochures for local things to do. Loved the pool table and ping pong. And washers and dryers were a nice touch too. Quiet comfortable location .

Beautiful room. Recently redone. However, the last occupant's used towel was left in the corner of the bathroom and 4 of a 10-piece McNuggets left in the fridge. Other than that, the place is immaculate. The room we were in was I believe called the "Sun Suite". This is not a space for people who sleep in. Unshaded sky lights in the bedroom. BRING EYE MASKS! Two beds but one is a comfortable fold out in the kitchen/living room space. The room description said it had a separate bedroom but the bathroom is off of the bedroom so the person staying in the kitchen has to go through your room to get to the bath. Not terrible but parents should know if their kid/s is/are staying in the kitchen. Absolutely love the pool table and shuffleboard table downstairs. And it is right next to a cow pasture so there are the associated aromas in the parking lot. That said, it is a really nice spot and very well kept.
