"I had a great experience at The Notary Hotel. The room, especially the view, was phenomenal. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. My only issue was the valet. They took an incredibly long time (almost 30 minutes) to retrieve my vehicle that they had just parked the night before; ultimately making me late for the appointment that was the entire purpose of my trip. I was not the only one in the lobby experiencing this issue either. The downtown traffic also did not do me any...

"The hotel and room was great, super clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful - we enjoyed ourselves. The only minor issue was that our otherwise wonderful and huge bathroom had some maintenance problems (non functional drain in tub that was addressed but not fixed in the time we were there, and a loose shower handle). We thought the breakfast was great, with especially high praise for the chocolate chip pancakes and yogurt and fruit/ chia combo. Thank you!"

"This was almost a pleasant experience in an older hotel in desperate need for a renovation. While checking in I was told that I received a complimentary room upgrade for which I was extremely grateful for. There were some other minor issues, one working elevator for majority of the trip causing extremely long waiting times for the elevator, I also had a package delivered that they couldn’t find. But the real kicker was at checkout when they charged me close to $300 for my “complimentary room...

"This was such a nice hotel and wonderful location. The staff was very helpful in recommending local places to eat. The breakfast buffet couldn't have been any better than it was. They had everything anyone could possibly want with many options. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Staff upon check in and check out were friendly. Room was average. Spacious. The bathroom appeared to be new until I saw the tub. The bath tub looked so gross I would not shower in it. Room equipment made large buzzing sound. Breakfast on the 24th floor was toast, and bagged boiled eggs. Coffee was weak. Not worth the price. "
