Hotel Dekat The Exhibit

"Good stay here, more in Brixton than Tulse Hill where our daughter lives. Room adequate and very close to Brockwell Park which was great for a swim! Kettle in room for teas and coffees. We thought we may get breakfast as classed as a b&b but this is not supplied."

"Very clean and handy for Balham and the underground."

"This is very charming and unique hotel with a bar downstairs and a lovely backyard. And it’s walking distance from Wimbledon so very convenient. And there is air conditioning!"

"Property is quite good, clean, comfortable, and a well stocked apartment. It made for a comfortable stay and overall would stay again. As others have said you can hear the music from the cafe in the mornings. The main stress was the lack of communication for check in. There is no app or front desk as mentioned in the listing and we had to chase to receive check in details. Some listing inaccuracies like free parking is only evenings and weekends."

"Great stay, bit of music noise but was expected"

"Hotel was in a good location, bit dated but nice sized rooms.teas coffees and biscuits in room. Bed and pillows were very comfy. Just few bits need updating but gif the price it was great"

"Very clean. Easy check in. Ground floor room so lots of traffic noise in the morning."

"property needs good renovation"

"Wasn’t aware I was booked in even though I’d had a confirmation email. Rather than get angry I slept on a sofa with bedding provided."

"Very responsive host, room was spacious but a tad tired. Bed was small and heavy winter duvet on. Bathroom was tired but clean and functional"

"The parking is NOT a real amenity of the hotel - it is self-serve street parking that requires you to move your vehicle every 4 hours during the day or to park a 5 minute walk away in a more residential area. The location was easy access to the train station and local shops and restaurants. The room was clean and the bed was comfy."

"This is not a hotel, it is a house with digital locks on the doors. Location on maps is wrong. I had to call someone to find the house and for them to let me in. Bathroom is not nice, the sink and shower are clearly blocked. Bedroom was okay but very basic. The person on the phone was helpful but I also got locked out of my room at 5am and couldn't get back in until I sent a message on WhatsApp. You get what you pay for. I wouldn't recommend staying here."

"The checking in service is terrible no key safe number was sent I had to ring up and mess about trying to sort it out nice place only 2 cups and 4 guest so that’s not great"

"Beautiful room, comfortable bed, big size compared to most accommodations. Responsive customer service, but miscommunication with the information provided by Expedia and the property. No room cleaning and change of bedding. The common area wasn't very clean either, but they always provided coffee, tea, milk and cereal. Silence most of the time, I had a long stay and only one day there was a problem with a smoker. The management solved the issue promptly and safely."

"Adequate room and clean bedroom and bathroom. Communication could do with improving because I didn't receive email notification 72 hours prior to visit (as stated), I did not know what door number it was (No.113) and nobody answered the phone number when I called, so I was standing outside for 40 minutes. But good price for location."
