This was a great alternative to the pricier hotels in downtown New Hope, and within a very reasonable 10+ minutes away, staying at the Golden Plough was a great and affordable alternative. "I booked a property through Expedia for six guests to visit Sesame Place. Upon arriving around 7:50 PM, the host told us the property was already occupied. We wasted an hour driving back and forth, plus a six-hour round-trip drive home, and lost our entire second day at the park. I’m requesting a full refund and additional compensation for the stress, wasted time, and ruined plans for our group. "

"Excellent value. Clean, quiet, attentive staff, good heat/a/c unit that functioned perfectly, wonderful bed/bedding, shower - very comfortable in all the ways that matter to me. Dated wallpaper, very marginal lighting in the room. Some trouble with the wifi, but not sure if that was a hotel problem or a me problem. Very good price for a generally very trustworthy hotel night. Will stay again when coming through this way."

"We enjoyed our stay very much! There were some inconveniences. The shower head was not working well. It needs to have the calcium buildup removed or just be replaced. The breakfast could have been warmer. And lastly the doors leading from the lobby to the rooms are need of some adjustment so they make less noise. With that said I highly recommend the hotel. The rooms are clean, comfortable and the staff is friendly."
