"The property was located in a very good location shopping and food was all close, The beds was comfortable and the room was very clean. Now the bad The breakfast was absolutely horrible. Nothing Hot and the OJ tasted horrible. Coffee watered down, At least make a strong batch of coffee…. Anyways hope this helps for other guest."

"The property is a wonderful makeover of a Motel 6. The coffee and breakfast situation is weird. You will have to order/schedule your breakfast the night before. The same choices as you would have and any other hotel that has free breakfast. But here they want to know which free items you want and when you want them. Probably a cost saving. Watch out for all the false gods in the lobby. I don't think there is one god there that God didn't destroy in the old testament."

"First off, this place is VERY charming. I love how they have it decorated as well. The few things I wanted to bring to people's attention is that if you park until the tree (walnut I believe) in the parking area, when they drop, they WILL dent your vehicle. So if you have a rental car, I'd advise you to park strategically. Word to the wise....I understand this is nature and the tree is beautiful! Just understand you may get dents from the nuts if you park under it and it's something to be aware of. Also, the room I stayed in (Lyon Room) was VERY cold at night. Of course, this is an older home, so that is expected from the windows. Pack your fuzzy PJ's! The staff when I did interact with them were very kind. However the sheets in my room did have some hair on them, not sure from what or who, but I shouldn't have to be brushing hair off of sheets that isn't mine. Other than those few things, it is very conveniently located downtown and there are many great food places to visit close by."

"The room was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located near Top of the Rock Restaurant and Brewery and just a short drive from Hales Bar Haunted House. It was a budget-friendly place to stay for a day trip, especially since it saved us from having to drive home afterward."

Red Roof Inn Monteagle - I-24

"We ended up at the Red Roof Inn when Hurricane Isaias and a leaky tent made camping impossible. The host family answered our call at 4 AM and gave us a warm, dry room for which we were very grateful. We ended up staying the next two nights as well and we found the location to be convenient to The Caverns music venue (about 20 minutes of rural driving). The room was well-equipped with a microwave and refrigerator, the shower was hot with good water pressure, and the beds were comfy. Hard floors rather than carpet were helpful since everything we had was dripping wet. Parking was very convenient and the staff were helpful and friendly. A flyer in the lobby led us to The Lodge museum of cast iron just down the road in South Pittsburgh - a fun treat we would not have known of otherwise. Thanks for saving our vacation, Red Roof!"
