"i went there with my family last week. I prioritised the property as per the reviews in Google and other sites about the property. I got 4.3 rating in almost every sites. But now I am thinking that if this hotel have the rating 4.3 in 5, what is the conditions of other hotels at Thanjavur. Cleanliness is very poor. "Hotel has a somewhat rundown look about it. The rooms are quite large and of reasonable quality. The choices offered at Buffet meals are ok but not outstanding. The quality of English spoken by staff is rather variable. The hotel is about 5 km from central Tanjore and the sights. There is nothing of interest close to the hotel. The swimming

is nice. The complementary tea and snacks at 5 pm are nothing special. In my view, this hotel is pleasant enough but somewhat over priced."

"What a wonderful and confortable stay at Sangam hotel. The

area was set in a nice garden, perfect to beat Thanjavur Heat. The restaurant was delicious and the breakfast offered a large selection of options. The staff was friendly and really helpful. I had an issue with my taxi that didnt show up and without hesitation one reception staff went above and beyond to sort everything and got me a taxi from the same outstation company.
