"A lovely welcoming and friendly hotel. Reception was excellent and the hotel set it beautiful grounds with abundant wildlife wandering around the onsite golf course. The spa facilities and gym were well up to date and not crowded on our visit. The breakfast was outstanding and we ate in the bar lounge in the evening with a more than adequate menu. All in all a very chilled and relaxing stay. "

"We were in the "old" part of the hotel and absolutely loved the quaintness & "creaky floorboards" of this place, but some may not - not sure if the annexe has these, maybe not. The room was pleasant, clean & the beds were very comfortable. We would have liked a couple more electrical sockets. The receptionists, waitress who served us breakfast were all lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was one of the best I have experienced for years in the UK and exceptional value for money. "Great stay in a lovely hotel. The owner was charming, friendly and fun and gave an excellent display of first class customer service. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We left too early for breakfast so they made up packed breakfasts for us too. Some of the alcoholic drinks in the mini bar are free too! Bed was comfortable and the facilities were clean, tidy, modern and well kept. Parking right outside too."
