"Location of the hotel was great as it’s very near the train station plus convenience shops and restaurants are nearby. The breakfast food were simple but tasty and the room was small but functional. Drawbacks were we asked for an extra pillow but was denied for reasons unknown. The breakfast place was also way too small for the size of the hotel."

"The entire hotel is shoe free, Hotel provides shoes locker and slipper for the entire stay. Nice onsen, great dinner very reasonable price."

"Fairly new Hotel. No dinning restaurant however hotel provides free snack for the first 100 guests 8 PM to 11 pm. Our snack was sashimi rice with hot soup and pickles. Hotel staff refer a Restaurant nearby. The restaurant was very good. The hotel breakfast was wonderful."

"Liked that there was a fridge and microwave in our room and an onsite onsen. Although sad that the women's onsen doesn't have a cold plunge or sauna like the men's. Provided pajamas, onsen towels and disposable slippers were good additions. Breakfast was ok.Thanks for a lovely stay."

"3rd time staying here. Connected to Jr utsunomiya station. Corner twin room spacious , and bed pretty good. However breadfast does not really change and staying 4 nites can be tiring. Onsen is quite good, with an outside pool. Use this hotel to visit nikko as jr local train is so comvenient. Also use JR to travel tohuku region like sendai n morioka."
