"The property manager was horrible, she was very aggressive when communicating. She tried to take my deposit for a broken lock that I have never touched. Very poor communication, I felt like I was in prison, because I wasn’t allowed to take visitors on her property. The housekeepers were more friendly and nice. "All staff were professional, courteous and friendly. They all went out of their way to grant your requests. The ambience is very nice. The electrical outlets on the patio didn't always work. Had to be creative in getting plugs to stay in. They also need to upgrade from 110v to 220v. Just kidding, but they should have something for travelers from Europe. Internet service was pretty good. Everyone in my group were pleased and would return. The tour setup for us by the manager was fun!!!! Good...

"The description of the property was not at all accurate. The pool was big but was not at all a ”resort pool”. The dishwasher didn’t work, showers didn’t work properly, AC couldn’t keep up with the heat. It wasn’t close to anything. Nothing. No coffee maker or ice maker. Literally 4 plates. It was not well appointed. It was really disappointing. "

"Well, what can i say about the villas at cool shade. It was spectacular. The entire villa was impeccably clean. Lush gardens and flowers. The rooms and decor were a breath of fresh air while staying true to its island feel with their vibrant colors. The pool! Oh my the pool! My kids and i couldn't get enough of the pool. "TERRIBLE experience. The security did not allow us to get onto the property without a room number. The owner of the property never picked up their phone and we called them hundreds of times. Was then stuck in a foreign country in the middle of the night trying to find a place to sleep.."

"This resort was absolutely amazing! The entertainment team on the ocean Eden bay side, was such a VIBE!! Dimario & CC are top tier! The food was ehh, not the greatest, Sakura & the coffee shop was actually good though! The pool area and beach was phenomenal! Staff was super professional, nice and helpful. 10/10 would absolutely recommend and if I come back to Jamaica, I will for sure stay here. "

"I really enjoyed my stay at excellence oyster bay. The staff were very friendly and extremely attentive. Property was clean and well maintained. I really like how they don’t use paper towels or straws and they process their own recycling onsite. The breakfast buffet was amazing as well as the oxtails. The room was fully stocked with plenty of refreshments and snacks. It’s very humid so it’s important to keep the doors closed otherwise the room can get pretty damp. Also, the AC only works when all doors are closed. Hummingbird tour was fun and the bracelet making activity was nice. Very funny tour guides which made things even more enjoyable. Definitely will be back!"
