C'mon, guys, St Louis, Missouri is supposed to be nicer, more hospitable state than, say, where I hail from!"

"This hotel was chosen because it was close the the medical campus of Wash U. It is super well maintained and the staff is always friendly. And there are chocolate chip cookies!"

"The staff was very nice. But our room was really gross. The main nightstand lamp was filthy looked like it had not been cleaned in ages. The curtains had holes in them! And broken hooks so it was falling down. All the legs of the table and dresser and chairs looked like a animal had been chewing on em. Really scraped and terrible looking. The fridge had some brown stuff in it in the top....and yellow in the bottom...the walls next to the door look like someone had spilled something down em and...

"Room and entire hotel was clean a well kept. The breakfast was very good and the evening “snacks” were much better than expected! Hotel was very full with families as it was the first or second week or summer vacations from school but the staff kept everything stocked, swept, mopped and moving while being very polite to everyone. Local shopping and amenities were very close and overall a very convenient location for the west end of St Louis. Highly recommend!"

"The Property is full of old world charm and very well maintained with all the major amenities provided. The manager was extremely informative regarding dining, entertainment and tourist options. Location is very close to theatre district but be prepared to travel a bit further to if you want multiple dining options. Property has dedicated street parking but can get busy on Fri and Sat nights due to theatre traffic, however, the manager was very helpful in reserving or securing spots for us so no...

"I was pleasantly surprised by how lovely the Clayton Plaza hotel is. The room had all the amenities of a fancy hotel. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with many options and full omelette and waffle bar and restaurant table seating available. The staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel, great location and very reasonable pricing!"

"Great communication of where to park and how to access. Ample beverages to choose from, and breakfast was delicious! As a very early riser, I was able to get a cup of coffee and bring back to my room. I also appreciated the organic half and half that was supplied! Dan & Rosie were very welcoming! Would stay here again if ever in the area. Of note- as the property is located on a busy street, it was a little noisy at times, but I still got a good nights sleep. Very big, comfortable room and...
