The general use kitchen on the ground floor is stocked with coffee, tea, cocoa, sugars & creamers so you can grab the types you prefer and how many you need to take back to your room instead of asking the staff, which is smart. It's not in the center of the action of Central West End so you have to walk a bit to get to those places, but I'm talking maybe 8 blocks (and the neighborhood is so beautiful you won't mind). "The hotel was so convenient to my husband’s medical appointments and procedures. The room was welcoming at just the right temperature. The bed was so very comfortable. I liked having a small sofa to relax instead of a room with one comfort chair and a desk chair. The bathroom was clean. My favorite two things were the warm welcome cookies and the reading lamps attached to the side of the headboard."

"I was pleasantly surprised by how lovely the Clayton Plaza hotel is. The room had all the amenities of a fancy hotel. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with many options and full omelette and waffle bar and restaurant table seating available. The staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel, great location and very reasonable pricing!"
