"In-room HVAC unit was very noisy. No in-room coffee or hot water dispenser. Otherwise, a nice room at a fair price. Can't comment on f&b as we did not try either of the hotels two options."

"Exceptionally price this hotel is well located with a nice view of the city. Under new management it seems that they are trying to take a tired older facade and make improvements (painting, bedding, etc). The management and is extremely helpful and nice trying hard to accommodate their guest. I have stayed there at least five times and will continue to due so. "

"Very conveniently located, and very clean with a friendly, responsive staff. Bed and room was very comfortable. Breakfast was a standard hotel breakfast. Only concern was some of the furniture was fairly scuffed in the room, but an overall good stay!"

"One of the best places that I have stayed in Portland. The Suite was clean and spacious and quiet. It is located in a great neighborhood and within walking distance of cafes and restaurants. The gated parking, which was included in the cost of the room, was a treat to have in a city where it is difficult to park. It gets my highest recommendation."

"Room wreaked of smoke Bathroom was not the best but rather old and water puddles formed on bathroom floor when someone took a bath There was no microwave in the room but the staff provided us with one when requested. During breakfast they ran out of wheat bread on one of the days. That was a big deal for me since I am a diabetic and I don’t eat white bread. . The staff were friendly however. The bar lady was great. "
