"Beautiful hotel for the price … large supermarket 2 minutes away was handy with refrigerator in room. 3 minutes to riverwalk, with shops, restaurants & beach ferry. TV’s are a little small for the size of the room and digital reception was poor. Stayed 6 nights and would stay again."

"The room was quiet, the heat pump worked well, the water was hot, the pools were great. Very clean. We had trouble figuring out the cooktop and coffee machine, but the staff patiently taught us. Grocery store down the hill, and huge one at the mall nearby. Walking to Tavira wasn’t very nice, so we drove."

"I was pleasantly surprised by everything at the Golden club hotel. I'd been slightly worried by some reviews before we arrived but i can honestly say our stay in August was excellent. It's a great 3 star hotel. All the staff were brilliant, my children went to kids club on our last 2 days and loved it, huge thanks to Junior, Andre, Pedro and Vinny, especially Junior who took my daughter under his wing and Pedro who entertained my son. "We had a wonderful stay at Pedras da Rainha. Checkin/out were easy, the room was very clean, and the property was well-maintained. We brought our dog with us and it was the simplest, no-hassle pet experience ever. The location was excellent - just down the road from charming restaurants and shops plus a walkable boardwalk. A quick 10-minute drive has you in Tavira proper or in the other direction, at a bright sandy beach. We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to others."

"Wonderful stay! It's like staying in someone's lovely ranch home. The garden suite was spacious and the bed was very comfortable- best shower in Europe! The relaxing vibe and out of the way location made for an ideal Algarve experience."

"Great stay. A studio was all that was available when we registered but, due to a cancellation, upon arrival we were upgraded to a much larger unit. Much appreciated! Very clean with full kitchen and a range of appliances for cooking or just reheating. All staff were extremely cordial and helpful. The breakfast is complete with all you could want to choose from. Beautiful, working farm grounds surround. Quinta da Capelinha will be our go to whenever we stay in Tavira. "
