"We found the property was very convenient to the airport, and to Halifax. If you enjoy TV, there is no TV, but most people watch it on their iPad. We really enjoyed our stay. It was only for one night. Very clean and the owner was very helpful. Our flight was early so we were missing breakfast, the owners bagged up a really nice breakfast to go. I would definitely stay at this place once again"

"The inside was very nice, the staff were very accommodating to a request. The rooms were clean, the bathtub looked like it had some black stuff along the wall wasn't sure if was mild. The restaurant on site was very expensive."

"Overall, we really enjoyed our time at the Dartmouth Sandman. We were staying at this property in the process of moving (not sightseeing) so it fit our needs perfectly. The front staff were exceptional and went beyond to help fulfill our needs and special requests. We didn't have a chance to use the amenities but the pool and gym looked very nice. The pub was also really nice for an evening drink and appetizers. We only had a minor issue with the housekeeping staff who didn't replenish our towels etc but the front staff responded quickly to this issue."

"The front desk staff were super helpful. The complimentary breakfast was fabulous-- more than typical continental breakfast and the fitness centre was well equipped. On top of everything, the location was perfect, across the street from the citadel and mid way between the harbour boardwalk and the public gardens."
