"Grounds are immaculate. Great view of the bush/river. Comfy bed. Good water pressure. Manager was fantastic. Good location (7 mins from New Plymouth by car). Quiet, safe. Can bike safely to New Plymouth ( sidewalk to round about on state highway 3 then side street with on road cycle path). Restaurant with yummy food on site. Things that could be better: Had only one BBQ so you need to reserve it in advance. Great stay and definitely a place I would go back. "

"This is a lovely hotel in a great location. Right near the coastal walkway and walking distance to the park. Our suite was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need. If you need to park a vehicle it's a good idea to reserve a spot ahead of time. We didn't, but luckily there were two spots left. Lastly, Janine at reception is an absolute gem!"

"Great location across the street from the costal walkway where you can catch beautiful sunsets over the ocean. The hotel is an older property that’s been well maintained. But the star attraction has to be Salt restaurant where the manager Ramesh and his culinary staff offer meals cooked to a high standard far beyond what you expect from a small hotel. If you like lamb you must try their signature dish lamb a toru (3 cuts of lamb). If you’re a traditionalist their English big breakfast is cooked...

"This hotel is nice and close to the city centre. We enjoyed the proximity to restaurants and the coastal walkway. The accommodation was spacious for our family and staff helped when we had issues with aircon and some supplies in our room. "

"The motel was in a great location, right across the road from two supermarkets down the road from some fast food restaurants. The unit we had was right next to a busy road so this is probably not the best place if you are a light sleeper as I could hear the cars going past and all the trucks backing and unloading at the supermarkets. The room was clean and had everything needed for eating."

"Parking and security excellent. Shopping ex cellent just across the road and takeaway foods a 2 minute walk Centrecity and town centre less than a 5 minte walk. A gr8t selection of restaurants and cafes. Supermarkets PaknSave New World The Warehouse even closer."
