"I didn't realise just how rough the place was. The lobby smelled like hash. Pubic hair on the dryer, the door lock didnt really work, the safety backup bar was loose. Weird stains in the bed. I gave up and found another place. I didn't want scabies or to wake up in the tub without my kidneys. The guy at the counter was pleasant and seemed understanding when I told him I was leaving. 250 bucks gone and headache at the end of long day for nothing."

"Hotel is located within walking distance of the TD Colliseum and the Art Gallery of Hamilton. Front desk staff were friendly, patient and helpful. Room was very clean and nicely equiped. Breakfast buffet is served 6:30 - 9:30 weekdays and offered a number of choices. "

"I stay here frequently for work. I ended up with an update for $20 a night with a kitchen and living area which was lovely. Room very clean. New shower faucet was really confusing to use and you couldn’t actually see on there where the hot and cold was. Also no vanity kits. Was desperate for a shower cap and nail file. Check in was good. Friendly front desk. He asked for my Credit card. I said do you need my ID? He said oh yes thanks for reminding me. The next day my key wouldn’t work and he re set it without asking for my ID. I said don’t you want to see my ID?? This is the reason for my 4 star rating. I really like it here but does that mean anyone could randomly get a card re programmed? Something small but safety as a woman alone is priority. "

"A very good hotel. Would stay again. Asked for lake view room and no problem. Lots of restaurant choices within a short walk. Downtown is clean, safe and upscale. Despite what all the signs say, paid parking at $20 per days can be charged to your room. Restaurant onsite but didnt try it. Reviews were not great. Room was large, with sofa and workspace. Bed was comfy. "
