Hotels near Varner- Hogg Plantation Historic Site

"I checked out of this hotel Sunday April 12th and realized I had left a bag full of my everyday necessities and jewelry. I contacted the hotel, which told me they had my bag and would be reaching out to get my shipping information to send it out. It is now Friday and I have not received a call. I have called every single day and I am met with some sort of excuse as to why I cannot be helped. It has been extremely frustrating that I have not been helped with this situation. As for the hotel is old but maintained. The beds were comfortable but the room had an old, outdated feel. "

"For a one night stay it was okay. Yes it's walking distance to the beach/ocean , which made it super convenient but the studio we stayed in was " updated" per employee but it was still run-down. Make sure to bring your own water bottles. Stove only had 2 /4 burners operable and there was zero cookware. The beds and blankets were very soft and comfortable. I personally would not stay there again. "

"There is no one at the front desk after 10pm, there is no room cleaning, if you need new towels or bed sheets you have to take them to the front desk and get new ones yourself, take out your own trash, no coffee pot in room, they did have coffee in the lobby 24 hours a day, no ice machine and kitchen in room no utensils or pans, with having to do everything yourself they should not charge as much"
