"This is not a standard hotel. It's a set of parked classic trailers (like Airstreams). Instead of a room or a suite you get a trailer - so it's basically a small apartment. Hotel management wants to keep the trailers as close to their original furnishings and mechanical systems as possible, but that's a challenge, so there are some things that don't work perfectly. "Peggy the inn keeper was very personable and helpful, spending time with us to explain the history of the property and engaging us in conversations that made our stay extra special. The awesome Pueblo building was well-maintained while retaining its old charm; plus, the inn was a walking distance from the old town and easy drive to many sights of interest, It was a perfect base from which to enjoy the historic and cultural town of Taos."

"Enjoyed our short stay in the hotel."

"We had a wonderful room, fabulous breakfast and a very comfortable stay"

"My husband and I spent two nights during the off season (late September) and everything was perfect. Most of the amenities in the ski village itself were already closed, but the resort was quiet, the hot tub was open, the restaurant served us daily, and the setting (nestled in the crest of the mountains) was amazing. Highly recommend for travelers looking for a great stay in a beautiful location. We Loved it."

"Ishmael was a great host. We were in "The Modernist" which was clean and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable, the seating fine. The bathroom has two sinks, which allowed us to spread out a bit. The shower, like many these days, had water pressure that could be described as adequate but not invigorating. The breakfast was very tasty. I would certainly return again."
