"It is not a completed Boutique Hotel. Building is being renovated and sits behind a lower level motel. You check in at the other motel and drive through the parking lot to an unmarked building. Lobby is unfinished. There is a handful of rooms down a hallway. No staff. Room was ok. Dirty in corners of the room. AC/Heat control on the wall did not work. No ice or vending machines available. Parking not identified or marked. "

"I stayed at the Western Inn in Gonzales, LA for one night on a leisure trip and had a really pleasant experience. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, which made check-in smooth and easy. The room was clean and comfortable — perfect for a quick stop. It’s a simple place, but well-kept and in a convenient location. Great value for the price. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m in the area."

"Check in was a disaster. Lost my reservation even though I showed them my confirmation email for 2 rooms. The front desk guy could care less about finding my reservation. He put me on the phone with someone who claimed to be looking for my reservation but apparently had to log in to one system after another and just kept saying, “1 second” over and over. In the end, I finally got my 2 rooms. Then the guest next to me starts blaring music at 1am and singing along to it…..but that’s a story for...
