My birthday trip

Perfect spot just outside of Ybor City! Host was kind and responsive. I'd definitely go back. Bed was soft and comfy.

Our host was great at communicating and super responsive! The neighborhood was very quiet and close to a lot of amenities. The unit looks like the pics as well. The only issue was the spotty WiFi (not the host’s fault at all) and he was very responsive when I reached out about it. The WiFi issue could have been caused by the fact it was raining and storming but despite that it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend and return.

Living room and kitchen were great. Bath and bedroom felt like an afterthought - simple things like lights not centered over the mirror in the bathroom, cardboard dresser in the bedroom and OMG did the bedframe squeek with the slightest of movements

Nice Updates, but Could be Better

Overall, this updated duplex in Ybor City was good. The location is a little sketchy, especially at night. The only main issue we had was that the bathroom sink faucet is basically useless. It only gets hot/warm water if the shower is running, and then that turns the shower water cold. The water pressure in that sink is also about the worst I’ve ever seen. It wasn’t a huge problem, but I did have to wash my face in the kitchen sink with no mirror. We also had one issue with being locked out of the house and had to contact someone to get it unlocked remotely. It was during the day so it was fine, but in that neighborhood if it had been at night I would have been a little bit panicked to be locked out.
