"The bedding had poop and blood stains and the brown girl at the desk double charged me. They don’t provide breakfast other then juice and coffee and yogurt and the rooms are dated and musty. I grew up in Duncan and moved to Ontario and travel for work but the standard this place had put the bar in hell and you have to limbo under it. 10/10 do not recommend."

"Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. Was not able to take advantage of the breakfast unfortunately, but the menu looked delicious!"

"The rooms have been recently renovated. The carpet is beautiful and plush. The decor looks very chic. There is a nespresso machine in each room. The TV and all the plugs are upgraded. Lovely stay!"

"This location is a beautiful property. We were given one of the waterfront rooms in the newer portion of the building. The room was clean and very well equipped had we have wanted to prepare our own meal. Instead we opted to have dinner at Riva, the restaurant in the same building which was an amazing experience. The property is in a wonderful area of Sidney with shops, restaurants, a great waterfront walking area. We would certainly return here again but next times would stay for a few days."

"Terrible! This property is sadly neglected and has unacceptable aesthetic, and maintenance deficiencies. Our dingy room featured a worn-out mattress, shabby furnishings, peeling wallpaper, scruffy well-worn paint. The bedding was discoloured and heavily wrinkled. "Clean & comfortable bed. Bathroom outdated but clean. Air conditioner worked great and kept the room cool while it was +30c outside. As mentioned in other reviews, visible homelessness in the area however they didn’t loiter about the hotel property and didn’t cause us any problem. It’s a good place to stay for the night if you’re passing through and need something economical."

"My stay was pleasant- and the staff were wonderful! The room was clean- and the proximity to where I needed to be was excellent The coffee pot stopped working, but I mentioned it to staff and there was coffee available in the lobby There was a leak in the shower stall- ( by the door) so the floor got wet in front of the shower- however the staff made up the room each day- and fresh towels were always available I would stay here again"
