"The rooms was spotless, its a very old building but modern and decorated beautifully, the bathroom was so clean and the shower was nice and powerful. "I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. "There is no parking for this place. The parking that they list on their email is only for permit holders. This greatly reduced my rating. The apartment itself could use a good deep clean. Tons of dust, the couch was covered in stains, the blanket on the couch was very smelly and dirty. The location is okay, far walks and bus rides to everything. "

"The location is good and the apartment was well laid out and efficient. We booked this instead of a hotel because the apartment offered laundry. However our machine smelled of burned rubber and left the smell in the clothes. We were there during summer and needed to open the windows. We were directly over trash and recycle bins which were quite loud as the bars dumped their bottles at the end of the night."
