"This was a magnificent find! Very small and quaint, with exceptional service. It is off the beaten path, and about 15 minute walk from crowded, bustling Bellagio. Much of the hike is uphill and on stairs, so beware of carrying luggage. Taxis are hard to find, and our host was kind enough to drive us to an early ferry upon departure (for a fee). Definitely recommend a room with a balcony. We didn’t include breakfast, but added a couple during our stay. Lovely to have in the garden, but...

"A quiet, serene spot, right in the old city of Bergamo. There's a lovely, calm garden area, and our room was bright and welcoming, Though the bathroom wasn't en suite, it was private and spacious. It was a bit odd to not interact with any staff (there is an electronic check-in process), we didn't have any issues so there was no need to contact anyone. Very close to lots of restaurants and cafes and beautiful sites to explore. "

"Daniele, the owner, is a perfect Italian gentleman. He was very helpful and informative during our short stay at his beautiful villa. He reserved us a great spot at Sottovento restaurant in Lierna for dinner. It was a few minutes walk away. The common sitting areas are very comfortable and spacious.
