"The room was clean but very basic; the husband and wife team that manages the property (for someone else) were friendly; the property urgently needs a face lift. It looks quite worn. The view and location were excellent. The WiFi did not work; there was no dining facility. The water quality for washing is quite basic since the water is pumped straight from Oxtongue Lake! We would not stay there again or recommend it to our friends."

"We had an excellent stay at Arrowhead Inn by Baaman's. My husband and I travelled with our dog for a spontaneous trip out to Muskoka. After a long day, we arrived at Arrowhead Inn and were greeted incredibly warmly by the Inn's owners. After a smooth and efficient check in, as well as some recommendations for eating (the food truck, "Quiver" on property being one of the options) we were shown to our room by the owner. The room was immaculate and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay....

"Curtain half off hooks, toilet paper holder not there so roll just sitting there unsanitary, ice machine broken, pop machine broken. Big thing is not even a coffee machine in room all guest were upset about that. Only good thing was beds were comfortable. Another guest said they would never stay there again. I guess you get what you pay for."

"Had a wonderful weekend stay! The room was spotless, incredibly comfortable, and had everything I needed to relax. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Such a cozy and beautifully decorated room! It felt like a home away from home, and the attention to detail really made my weekend extra special. The staff was incredibly welcoming. I will definitely be returning! Highly recommend. "

"Negative Punkte, persönlich keine Weiterempfehlung! Wir hatten eine Hütte für drei Nächte gebucht. Die inserierten Bilder auf Expedia sahen ordentlich aus, aber in echt war das Moorhaven einfach abgenutzt... Nach kurzer Inspektion der Unterkunft hatten wir schreckliche Kopfschmerzen von Raumduft. Also wäre durchgehend Anti-Mückenspray versprüht worden. Das Bad, heruntergekommen, voller Flecken, würde ich niemals benutzen. Positiv: Die Lage der Unterkunft ist praktisch gelegen, der See direkt...

"Staff were friendly and helpful"

"We checked into our room which was dated but okay. The floors felt dirty and wet. We settled in and decided to lake the best of it but when we climbed into bed the bedding was damp at our feet. We called the front desk who tried to help by bringing fresh bedding but when we went to change the sheets we discovered the foot of the mattress was soaked with who knows what!!! We asked to change rooms and they accommodated us with another room without a lake view but thankfully with a dry mattress. ...

"This is a go to temporary motel. The rates were low and if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable bed, that’s what you’re gonna get. It’s not a five star by any stretch, but you’re not paying for five stars either. The owners are nice and retirement age. The exterior pictures of the hotel are definitely outdated. It’s a stop and go kind of place. Use it for what you need it for and then time to move on."

"Had a wonderful stay here. The receptionist on arrival was amazing! The updated room was very tasteful and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Room was quiet as well. The included breakfast was great! Location was also good. Staff were excellent!! My only complaint was that the AC was a bit noisy."

"Nicely landscaped, comfortable beds, very clean. Only recommendation I would make is to install at least one bar in bathtub to make it more safe for older people to climb in and out of the tub/shower."
