"This is charming old property with a personal touch. The staff are lovely and helpful, and the house is full of character and - within the inevitable limits of an ancient building - well appointed. Very comfortable beds and effective (and needed!) aircon. The location is wonderful, although coming to Sintra by car is a mistake! Taxis and Uber are plentiful and cheap. I would leave the car behind next time. "

"The room w/ the ocean view was lovely! Breakfast was decent. Staff was helpful. Parking was available but a bit of a pain because you had to call to be rung in (and our phones didnt always work). The only negative was our room constantly smelled like smoke because someone somewhere was smoking and it was going right into our room."
