"This Hotel was under major renovations during our stay. Amenities were next to nonexistent. Construction began early in the morning and greatly affected ability to go to and from rooms. Extremely noisy (at least our room was). Great location, once construction is completed it may be a nice property."

"The mansion is a beautiful, historic treasure. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast plentiful and tasty, and the amenities were very nice. The proprietor generously shared her time talking about the history, the community, etc. Highly recommend for those who enjoy indulging in history and beauty during their stay."

"The cleanliness of the place was very poor. There were candies on the floor underneath the desk and the shower had black hair. Sofa was very itchy and we put down a towel before sitting on it. On the 3rd day, the cleaning service just put new toilet paper and took out the garbage, but nothing else. For the price, look for cleaner, more well maintained place in downtown South Bend."

"Ivy Court Inn & Suites was such a cute place to stay! I rate it a 10/10! I was only there for 1 night but I wish I could have stayed longer. The breakfast was delicious, and free! The beds were very comfortable! The staff was welcoming and friendly."

"Breakfast was pay as go despite expedia saying it was included. Parking was a surprise fee, additional, and quite high. Staff at check in and check out were rude, "busy" despite no other guests being present, didn’t even offer token courtesies. Beds were horribly uncomfortable, pillowcases were scratchy and starchy feeling, lights were confusing or didn’t work. "The original room we received was dirty, hair all over the bathroom and in the tub, but staff were quick (and friendly!) to switch us to a different room after I raised concerns. The building, overall, was a little rundown, but it was fine for a quick weekend trip."
