"It was a wonderful experience "

"The location - beachside, is great. The breakfast food and service were good, especially since we went during spring break. However, housekeeping was disappointing. A lollipop stick was stuck between the sheets of one of the queen beds in the room, which indicated to us that the bed was not changed after the last guests. Also, the guests next door were very noisy most of the night. We reported the issues the next morning to the front desk, and the clerk was apologetic. After some discussion, we agreed to stay in the same room and let them change sheets on both beds and reclean the room since the motel was sold out. The sheets on the bed with the sticky sucker stick were changed, but the other bed was not. We went back to the front desk and got another set of bedding and changed the sheets ourselves. (The stationary soap dispenser in the shower was also empty after the first night and was not refilled.)"

"I can’t count how many times we’ve stayed at the Driftwood, but we will be repeat guests for as long as they’re there. This place is everything you want in a relaxed family atmosphere. I LOVE the Driftwood so so much!!"

"Let’s go in order shall we! 2N stay for a family of 3. I booked a King Studio and was greeted by a clean, cool room. I’m also HH so it had my name on the screen when I walked in. Self-parking was no issue & digital check in was fast & efficient. I did still have to go to the desk for additional information and wristbands. We waited 45 min past check in to get our room which is understandable as it’s spring break. Amenities like reception hour, movies on the lawn, and dedicated staff; we have no complaints there! Breakfast at Fin was ok and had a lot of variety, made-to-order omelets, fresh waffles, yogurt, cereal, bagels & more. Dinner at Blu was also okay w/ the burgers being most notable. Although we did not visit it the outdoor pool was always clean. Loved that we could check out digitally and not have to visit the desk, received our folio in a timely manner. Overall, we’d visit again! "

"We had a great stay and our room was clean. They are quite dated but clean which is a top priority for me. Wonderful spot on the ocean if you choose ocean view. Well worth the $$. Would stay again."

"It was awful, first off - no parking. Second we get our room. There’s a bug crawling on me, the bed had DIRT ON IT, hot water didn’t work, hallway’s threshold was broken, the lights didn’t work, fridge didn’t work, hairs in the bathtub, the door that goes outside had a large crack in the bottom, the door leading to the room beside us, didn’t lock, couch was DISGUSTING, bugs smushed on the floor & blood on the wall!!! Parking was awful not enough space. Staff were nice. We went and stayed somewhere else. "
