"If you’re coming for a few nights, this is the place to stay because it’s like home away from home with all the extras that are included in the townhome. It was excellent for our three kids us and another couple to stay in a two bedroom. Everything is well kept and up-to-date. All you have to bring is your personal items and any food you want for the week. Perfect family getaway! Highly recommended and well worth the cost! "

"We thought the room was great, clean and a beautiful view of Lake Superior. The property was beautiful with a great walking trail all the way around it. Only thing I would say is it would have been great to have blackout curtains in the room, it gets light out around 4am. But all in all it’s a great place to stay and great pricing for the 3 nights we were there and all the free amenities and accommodation are also a great perk!"

"This is one of my favorite places to stay on the north shore. Pet friendly, great service, clean room, helpful staff. The motel rooms have a little kitchenette with dishes and a two burner cook stove. Very quaint. There is a dry sauna in the main lodge. You can walk down to look at Lake Superior. Hopefully the new owners don’t change the motel rooms they are affordable and comfortable."

"Great location for hiking the trails and visiting local businesses and restaurants. Beautiful yard overlooking the lake and plenty of outdoor seating! Comfortable bed. We were disappointed by the complexity of using the sauna, which we really wanted to do. I felt the staff could have done more to have it ready for the guests. Staff were basically non-existent."

"Rooms clean, staff was great and knowledgeable pool and hot tub were great , kitchen was a little lacking in things to use for cooking and the coffee pot was not the greatest had to google how to use it after three attempts with hot coffee water everywhere could update those things but otherwise ok. Decks and stairs are a little scary could be updated but overall good "
