We stayed two nights. The second night we went to bed about 10 pm. We turned the heat on to lower and the temperature was set to a minimum marked by a blue dot on temperature dial. Shortly before midnight my wife and I both woke up hot and starting to sweat. There was a burning smell in the air. I first checked to make sure there was not a fire..
Next I turned off the wall heater which must have been the source of the burning smell. There was nothing next to the heater.
The hotel front desk is not staffed after 10 pm. They give you an after hours number to call it anything comes up. So next I called that after hours number. I explained what was going on to the security man and told him the smoke smell was making us feel nausea. He said it was probably a filter and that they would send maintenance staff in the morning. I asked if the room would stay warm until morning. He said it would stay warm until morning. We thought it was kind of strange that with a smoke smell that no one could even bother to come and check out the problem. We ended up staying up until after 2 am waiting for the smoke smell to dissipate some before we could get back to sleep. In the morning it was cool in our room especially after taking a shower.
On check out the front desk gave me a manager info to contact. I sent an email a week and half ago and have not got a reply.
